Photo-a-Day // Week 25

23 June — The temperature reached 90 today, so the kiddos enjoyed playing with water in the backyard.

22 June — It was so great having my mom & dad here for the last two weeks. My mom is staying another two weeks, so I don’t have to say bye to her just yet. I realized that I didn’t have any photos of my dad and I together, so I asked Jason to take one of us, and I’m glad I did!

21 June — My dad was quite the chef while he was here. It was wonderful for me to get a break from the kitchen, and his meals were always delicious and healthy.

20 June — Here is a view of the town of Flossenbürg from the top of the castle ruins. This little town is filled with so much history, from the castle ruins that date back hundreds of years, to the WWII concentration camp that you can see in the top right (look for the guard tower in the trees), to the granite quarry that is a major part of the town’s livelihood today.

19 June — Our lovely German neighbor gave us an apple tree to plant in our backyard.

18 June — Jason and I took my parents to the Chodovar brewery and spa for a tour and beer bath. While I was taking this photo of a portion of the brewery, my mom jumped in for an awesome photobomb.

17 June — Caleb got his hair cut!!! Papa D did a great job cutting Caleb’s hair. He likes his short hair and looks like such a big boy now.
