My *Almost* Three Year Old

While he’s still three months shy of his next birthday, I can’t believe what a big boy Ezra is becoming. These past few months especially have brought on a lot of changes in him. We started potty training at the beginning of July, and he did great! Jason and I were pretty intimidated by the whole thing, but Ezra made the transition from diaper to potty like a champ. We often have to remind him to go and he continues to wear a diaper at bedtime, but otherwise he’s got it down. And I must say, those big boy undies are adorable on him!
Ezra is a talking machine. There’s always something going on in that head of his, and he is not shy about sharing it. He still loves to figure out how things work, and especially loves to play with dada’s Lego helicopters and airplane. Jason bought the Lego sets shortly after Ezra was born, claiming that they were for Ezra. 😉  Well, at least Ezra is starting to enjoy them with dada now.
Little kiddo loves helicopters, which is no surprise since they are everywhere around here. He spots them in the sky multiple times each day and we drive by an airfield each time we leave post. I won’t be surprised if he decides that he would like to fly one someday.
I took these photos of him at the same time I took Caleb’s 10 month photos. It was rainy and dreary out, but the window light made for some nice images.

Thanks so much for these delightful pictures.
These are the next best thing to being able to hear the talking machine. I can almost hear the sounds coming out of the pictures.
