Merry Christmas!

We had a quiet Christmas this year. Most of our friends and neighbors traveled for the holiday, but we decided to stay put. We were sad not to see family back home, but it was actually kind of nice to enjoy Christmas with our own little family. Plus, I can always do without the stresses of flying with two little ones.
Caleb and Ezra love their new Berlin Flyer wagon. During their first ride in it on Christmas afternoon, Caleb discovered that the sides can be pulled up from the base of the wagon. We’re still working on getting him to leave them alone, and have begun brainstorming ways to possibly lock them in place. I can’t believe this Christmas was Caleb’s second, and Ezra’s fourth! Our boys are growing up so quickly. Jason read aloud the story of Jesus’ birth that day. It is so wonderful to watch Ezra begin to process and understand the meaning of Christmas:

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
–Luke 2:11
