Garmisch is one of my and Jason’s favorite places in Germany. We just love the mountains, the crisp air, the clear blue streams, and all the gorgeous greenery. We stopped in Garmisch twice during our two week road trip with MiKela this summer. We stayed one night on our way to Italy, and two nights on our way back home.
This first set of photos is from Partnach Gorge. There is a path for visitors to walk on through the gorge, and though there is a railing on the side of the path, we held on tight to Ezra and Caleb’s hands the whole time.

The rest of the photos are from our trip back through Garmisch on the way home. We took the cog wheel train up to the Zugspitze, which is the highest point in Germany. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t completely clear that day, so we were in the middle of the clouds when we reached the top. It was a neat experience, but it would have been nice to be able to enjoy the amazing views while we were up there.

MiKela took these photos of Piper and I from an evening we spent downtown in Garmisch. I love them, as I do not often get photos of me with my little ones. The following photo is of MiKela and Caleb riding a Rodelbahn, and the last shots are from an afternoon walk we took along the river by our hotel in Oberau.
Stay tuned for more photos coming soon!!
